Downtown Raleigh has so much to offer a couple for their photo shoot. From the gardens at one of the many parks, to an urban look and an industrial look. Looking for a good Raleigh skyline, no problem. This city has it all!

Biltmore Estate Engagement Session - Kaitlin and Chris

Biltmore Estate Engagement Session - Kaitlin and Chris

The Biltmore Estate is quietly situated in Asheville NC. On arriving at the Biltmore Estate you'd think it was just a big park until after a long drive you turn a corner and see the huge mansion. Every time I visit for a session, I am always surprised by it's beauty.

New Bern Engagement Session - Megan and Justin

Nothing beats a trip to the coast for a photo shoot. This was the first time doing a shoot in the winter on the coast, and the weather was perfect. Megan, Justin and I met at their old home street in New Bern to start their engagement session. This street has a special meaning as they lived in different homes virtually next to each and their romance blossomed.

Cypress Gardens Engagement Session - Tyara and Quinn

Charleston SC has to be one of my all time favorite cities to work in. There's just so much to use during our photo shoots. One particular location is Cypress Gardens. Home to many alligators, bugs and more I'm sure. These gardens have been used in many movies, with one that springs to mind - The Notebook.

I met Danielle and Nicholas at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville NC. A beautiful estate in the heart of Asheville that offers a vintage and very classic look for any photo shoot. I simply love working at the Biltmore for a few reasons: it's very different to the local park, with the vintage/classic look and feel to the location. Just extremely unique and European feel. The second reason, the couple are away from their normal stomping ground and relax much more. I call it the "I'm on vacation" vibe.

Outerbanks Engagement Session - Sammi and Chris

I met Sammi and Chris at the NC State University Campus to kick of the first of many locations for their engagement session. Wondering around the campus and focusing on locations that had sentimental meaning to them. Moving after this to the NC State Football Stadium. A very impressive stadium, with an awesome entrance way. Once we were done at the first two locations, we settled in for the drive to Manteo, NC.

Wilmington Engagement Session - Christion and Nick

When I met Christion and Nick I knew they would be up for a really creative engagement session. I was not wrong! We started in downtown Wilmington on a very hot July summers day, using a number of downtown locations. We then moved on to Carolina Beach for some sunset portraits, and then back to downtown Wilmington. This time on the USS North Carolina Battleship harbor side to use the downtown Wilmington skyline as a backdrop.
