Bellamy Mansion Bridal Session - Laura and Steve

If you have never seen the historic Bellamy mansion in downtown Wilmington, NC you need to check it out on your next visit to this coastal city. This mansion goes back to the founding days and has so much history it is crazy. The rooms are filled with so much natural light. The chandler's, the fireplaces and the widows look out are just awesome. I was beside myself photographing at this venue and found it hard to stop.

Old Sheldon Church Ruins Bridal Session - Heather and Matt

Whilst in discussion for possible locations with Heather about bridal session, it turned out that she loved Old Sheldon Church Ruins SC. Oddly enough this is a location I've photographed at many times and know it really well. It is an old church, originally made from brick and wood. Now the wood has gone, leaving just the walls and pillars. The church is found in the middle of a thick forest a little off I-95 near Old Sheldon Church.

Blowing Rock Bridal Session - Elizabeth and Rob

When Elizabeth and I started to plan her bridal session location, Blowing Rock came up as a very special and one dear to the couples heart. The studio simply loves anywhere in the mountains, and Blowing Rock has so much to offer. From amazing vistas, rustic landscapes and Appalachian University. In discussing further, I found out that Rob had played football at Appalachian University and there might be a chance to photograph at the stadium.

Jessica and I met at The Cotton Room one rainy summers evening for her bridal session. This venue handles events and weddings. An old, repurposed cotton mill, beautifully restored. Exposed brick walls, original glass, wood and metal ceiling. The huge windows flood natural light into the space.

This is quite simply one amazing venue. A repurposed old cotton mill designed for events and weddings. The beautiful details within the building, from the exposed brick walls, the wood ceiling with all of the original metal piping. There's a sense of vintage urban at this venue with always creates a perfect backdrop for a beautiful bride and her bridal session.

Bridal Session at Elizabeth Gardens - McKenna and Byron

When McKenna and I started planning the locations of her bridal session. It dawned on me that the locations we used for their engagement session would be an amazing surprise to Byron and a great experience for her. Additionally, Byron's pride and joy is an old sailing boat he has been lovingly restoring which is anchored behind their Outerbanks family home.
