There's something quite special about weddings in Wilmington, NC. It could be the old buildings, the ocean air or the relaxed, easy going venues. The studio loves to work in this small coastal city, only a few hours away from Raleigh, NC.
We met Andrea and the bridesmaids getting ready at The Loft in downtown Wilmington. A cute, old building with exposed brick walls and the original wooden flooring. Moving on to The Atrium by Ligon Flynn for a modern, contemporary flare for their wedding ceremony. Finishing up at 128 South for their reception.
Right after the sparkler exit, the couple and I walked down to the peaceful boardwalk area on the river front to take some final portraits. There is always an air of magic at the end of a couples wedding day and nothing finishes it better for the studio than these final few portraits. There's a quite giddiness at the end of a long and wonderful day.
